These chocolate cookies are made with all natural ingredients and are suitable for vegans!
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 4 teaspoons Chocolate Gourmet Drops
- 50g white sugar
- 50g brown sugar
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon almond, soya or oat milk
- a pinch of salt
- 25g cocoa powder
- 50g vegan chocolate chips (optional)
Preheat the oven to `80 degrees celsius and prepare a baking tray by lining with parchment paper. Begin these cookies by whisking the coconut oil, and brown and white sugar. In a separate bowl, sift in the flour and cocoa powder and add the salt and baking powder. Stir until combined. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix by hand. Add the milk to the mixture and mix until a dough is formed. Add the chocolate chips and mix in until consistent throughout. Separate the dough into 3 inch balls and place separated on a baking tray.
Bake the cookies for around 10 minutes or until they begin to brown around the edges. Allow the cookies to cool and enjoy warm or keep in the fridge. Yum!
