These Brownies are indulgent, fudgey and full of chocolatey good-ness without the calories and extra fat. Easy to make and a classic favourite, these brownies make the perfect low-fat snack!
- 40g chopped dark chocolate
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
- 60g 0% fat greek yoghurt
- a pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon Chocolate Gourmet Drops
- 2 large egg whites
- 80g coconut sugar
- 90ml skimmed milk (or milk alternative)
- 90g whole wheat flour
- 90g coconut flour
- 60g cocoa powder
Firstly, preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius and prepare a medium square baking tray with baking paper.
In a mixing bowl, add the coconut oil, egg whites, Gourmet Drops and salt and whisk well. Stir in the yogurt until the mixture is consistent. Stir in the coconut sugar, milk, cocoa powder and baking powder. Next, add in the flour and stir until the mixture is smooth. Add in 2 tablespoons of the chocolate and stir until consistent throughout the batter.
When the mixture is well combined, pour into the baking tray and sprinkle the remainder of the chocolate on top. Bake the brownies for around 15 minutes or until slightly risen. Allow the brownies to sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour after taking them out of the oven (let them sit for longer for a more fudgey texture) and enjoy! YUM!
